Meat Dishes

Ingredients

SERVES 6
¾ lb (350 gr) ground beef
½ cup cooked rice
10 medium tomatoes
6 medium bell peppers
6 medium zucchini
4 medium onions
1 cup water
2 garlic cloves
¼ bunch fresh parsley
¼ bunch fresh dill
¼ bunch fresh mint
¼ teaspoon ground black
pepper
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

TOMATO, ZUCCHINI AND BELL PEPPER DOLMA
(DOLMA STUFFED WITH MEAT, RICE AND DELICIOUS HERBS)

1 Grate the onions, garlic and two tomatoes, combine with the beef.
2 Mince the parsley, dill and mint. Add to the beef.
3 Add salt, pepper, two tablespoons olive oil, rice and three tablespoons water, mix well.
4 Clean and hollow out the bell peppers, six tomatoes and zucchini. Fill with the meat stuffing.
5 Close the top of the stuffed bell peppers, tomatoes and zucchini with a slice of tomato.
6 Slice two tomatoes. Layer half of the sliced tomatoes on the bottom of a pan.
Place the stuffed bell peppers, tomatoes and zucchini (vertically) on top of the
tomatoes. Top with the remaining tomato slices.
7 Carefully add ½ a cup of boiling water and four tablespoons olive oil. Cook over
medium heat and serve hot.
